Who is GOD to you? I can imagine several
answers that had bumped through your mind right now.
In
as much as those answers were correct, I would love you to take a moment to
ruminate over this ‘million dollar’ question again but this time, personalize
the question…WHO IS GOD TO ME?
You
will agree with me that a father’s sole responsibility is to provide for the
needs of his family, so is God’s responsibility to us as children. (But my
God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ
Jesus. Phil 4:19)
As
we all have different faces so are our needs different.
It
is in accomplishing these dear needs, over a period of time that streamlines an
individual’s perspective of God and obviously a claim to who He is to us.
Now,
again who is God to you?
A
Father ?(psalm 89:26)
A
Helper? (psalm 54:4)
A
Friend? (proverb 18:24)
A
Provider? (1 Timothy 6:17)
Sustainer?(Philippian
4:19)
A
Deliverer? (2 Samuel 22:2)
Or
rather still Everything? (2 Peter 1:3)
Also,
relationship with God is a function of knowing who God is to us.
Develop
a relationship with Him and you
will know more of who He really is to you...!
